Scholarship Applications

The Elgin Alumni Association has partnered with the Marion Community Foundation to help with our scholarship program. The Marion Community Foundation helps charitable-minded people like us to achieve log term goals by creating tax deductible, named endowment funds. These funds support numerous Marion area nonprofit programs, organizations, and individuals through grants and scholarships. Because of their prudent investment policy and the endowed nature of these funds, grants, and scholarships in your name will continue forever.
Scholarship Program – Application CLOSED. A scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors or graduates that are active participants of Elgin High School. The full scholarship criteria, requirements, and application can be found at the Marion Community Foundation Scholarship Program webpage (www.MarionCommunityFoundation.org). The application period is now closed!
Applications. One application makes students eligible for all scholarships for which they qualify. Only online applications will be accepted. The application does not have to be completed all at once. Students can save and return to answer more questions or correct information previously entered. The application does require recommendations, essays, financial information, and more. Submitting FAFSA information is optional.
We encourage students to start early so these time-consuming items can be completed.
The online application can be found at: www.MarionCommunityFoundation.org.
