The Elgin Alumni Association has partnered with the Marion Community Foundation to help with our scholarship program. The Marion Community Foundation helps charitable-minded people like us to achieve log term goals by creating tax deductible, named endowment funds. These funds support numerous Marion area nonprofit programs, organizations, and individuals through grants and scholarships. Because of their prudent investment policy and the endowed nature of these funds, grants, and scholarships in your name will continue forever.
Scholarship Program – Application CLOSED. A scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors or graduates that are active participants of Elgin High School. Single Application: Students only need to complete ONE Common Application to be considered for all available funds, including the one established by our organization.
Wide Eligibility: Funds support attendance at trade schools, two-year, four-year, graduate, law, and medical schools.
Key Deadline: Will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST.
